It was famous for being home to Mozart, Beethoven and artists like Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele.

Airline Companies Offering Flights from London to Vienna


There are a lot of airline companies that offer cheap flights from London to Vienna.  Here are a few of them...

Austrian Airlines is a company based in Austria and is the country's flag carrier airline.  It has been offering flights since the mid 1950s. Austrian Airlines have been an affiliate of Star Alliance since 2000, which the major airline alliance of five different countries.

Air Berlin also offers trips from London to Vienna.  It is considered to be the second biggest airline company in Germany. It has been in business since the late 1970s.

The Easyjet Airline Company has been in business for over 15 years, its first air services transporting passengers within Europe.  It is based at Luton International Airport's Hangar 89.

Swiss International Airlines is based in Switzerland and offers flights to all over the world.  It is Switzerland's major airline and has been since Swissair went bankrupt.  A section of Swissair was then sold Crossair. Its name was later changed to Swiss.


Usual Flight Times


Austrian Airlines usually have flights from London to Vienna at 9:25 am and 7:30 pm, so it shouldn't be too difficult to fly at a time that's convenient for you.

Air Berlin's usual flight times depart at 7:30 am and 4:50 pm, but it may take up to eight hours to get there, depending stopover scheduling.

Easyjet offers departure times from London to Vienna at 10:30 and 3:30 pm.

Flights with Swiss International Airlines are scheduled to depart at 6:40 am and 1:30 pm. It may take around 6 hours to get to Vienna because of the stopover at either Zurich or Geneva.

Cheapest Tickets and Departure/Arrival Airports

Austrian Airlines' ticket prices start at around 86 Euros. Departure airport is Heathrow, London and you arrive at Schwechat, Vienna.

The cheapest ticket that we could find for Air Berlin started at a bargain 44 Euros. For this flight you have to depart from Stansted Airport in London and arrive at Schwechat Airport in Vienna.

Easyjet departs from from London Luton Airport, and its ticket prices ranged from 44 Euros to 88 Euros when we searched.  Again, you arrive at Schwechat, Vienna.

The cheapest ticket we could find with Swiss International Airlines started at 92 Euros.  Heathrow Airport is the departure airport, and the plane touches down in Schwechat in Vienna after stopping-over at either Geneva or Zurich.

These are just some of the cheap flights from London to Vienna, their flight schedules and the cost of the tickets.  You can still look for cheaper tickets than those above, and this will be made easier if you book online.
